As Operations Manager, Smitha is responsible for supporting the review of NAV calculations and investor statement reports. Smitha has vast level of working experience into Capital markets, Project management, General Ledger Accounting, Training & development, Risk Compliance and Audits. Prior to joining the firm, Smitha has around 14+ years of experience into Retail and Corporate Audits, Invoicing , Payroll processing, however her core domain expertise has been into Fund accounting, Portfolio management, Investor relationship management, Client interactions and Audit & Reporting requirements for Hedge funds, Private equity funds, Private debt funds, Real estate funds and Hybrids. She comes with intensive working knowledge on the IFRS and US GAAP disclosure requirements too. She has worked with companies like J.P. Morgan Bank, Northern Trust Bank and TATA Consultancy Services to name a few. She is a certified Scrum Master, certified Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (New Delhi) and has done her Master’s in Accounting and Finance from Gujarat University, India.
